Hi! My name is Kelly Edmonds and I’m a designer based in Santa Cruz CA, with experience in the restaurant, hospitality, and cannabis industries. Currently, I freelance for American Weed Co., producing a variety of marketing and sales collateral.
Previously, I worked at boutique design agency Ray Studio, where I focused on brand design, visual identities, and collateral for the restaurant and hospitality sectors. Before that, I spent five years in the cannabis industry designing and sourcing California compliant packaging and graphics for cultivations and brands, creating digital and print advertising as an in-house designer for KindPeoples dispensary, and freelancing for cannabis media agency, Stoned Fox. Through these experiences I honed my skills in both creative and strategic design.
I am passionate about creating designs that leave a lasting impact, connecting with consumers both emotionally and functionally. Nestled between the mountains and the sea, Santa Cruz provided an unrivaled environment to grow up in. I was surrounded by the beauty of nature, surf culture, and art, which continues to inspire my work today.
